We Label Every Part Honestly
Automotive lighting and electronics are safety-relevant components, so we never use ambiguous language to describe what a product actually is. Each listing on our store falls into one of three clearly marked categories:
Original manufacturer parts, including used/pre-owned OEM assemblies removed from donor vehicles. These are inspected for function before listing and described as used, not new, in every case.
New components built to match factory form, fit, and (where applicable) wiring specifications, produced by third-party manufacturers rather than the original vehicle brand.
Performance or styling upgrades not intended to replicate a factory part, clearly presented as an aftermarket modification rather than an OEM replacement.
Because many of our lighting and infotainment products are matched to a specific chassis code, model year, and factory wiring configuration, we do not claim universal fitment. Product pages list the confirmed vehicle applications, and our support team verifies your vehicle identification details before your order is finalised for shipping.
Vehicle Verification Before Anything Ships
Because fitment errors are the single biggest source of returns in the automotive parts industry, we verify every order against your actual vehicle before it is dispatched.

Processing
Orders placed before 16:00 CET on a business day begin processing the same day; all others begin the next business day. Processing takes 1–2 business days.
Dispatch & Tracking
Your order ships via DHL or UPS with tracking, and we email your tracking number as soon as it is available.
If a compatibility issue is identified during verification, we will tell you before shipping — not after — and offer a suitable alternative or a full refund.
Where and How We Ship
Carplaylux currently ships exclusively within the European Union, to the following countries. We do not process orders for delivery outside this list, including within the Netherlands' own checkout if a non-supported address is entered.

14-Day Return Window
You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order. This aligns with the statutory right of withdrawal granted under EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU) as implemented in each country we serve.
7-Business-Day Refunds
Once a returned item is received and inspected, we process the refund to your original payment method within 7 business days.
Condition Requirements
Items must be returned unused, undamaged, and with original packaging and accessories where possible, so we can verify condition before issuing a refund.

How You Can Pay
All transactions are encrypted and processed through Shopify's PCI-compliant checkout. We never store your full card details on our servers.

- Road-legal use of aftermarket or OEM-style lighting depends on local vehicle regulations (including ECE/E-mark type-approval requirements) and can vary between the countries we ship to. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm road-legal status in their own country before use on public roads.
- Genuine used OEM components are inspected for function prior to listing but are sold as used parts; the applicable conformity guarantee period may be reduced to a minimum of one year for used goods where permitted under local law.
- We recommend professional installation for all lighting and electronic components, particularly those that interface with factory wiring or vehicle safety systems.
- Vehicle compatibility is confirmed against the make, model, year, and VIN you provide during order verification. Fitment issues arising from incorrect vehicle details provided by the customer are handled under our standard return terms.
